Government Quota
The official Provisional Rank List for MBBS/BDS 2026-27 – Government Quota is now published.
Candidates applying through the Tamil Nadu Government Quota route should check their:
- Rank
- Application details
- NEET details
- Community/category details
Management Quota
Tamil Nadu has separately published the:
Provisional Rank List for MBBS/BDS 2026-27 – Management Quota
This route must remain separate from Government Quota counselling.
Management Quota includes applicable Minority/NRI routes according to the official prospectus and subsequent counselling notices.
7.5% Government School Reservation
A separate provisional rank list has also been released for:

This is not a college allotment result.
A rank appearing in the provisional list does not mean that a medical or dental seat has been allotted.
Actual admission will depend on:
- Candidate eligibility
- Reservation
- Seat matrix
- Rank
- Choices/preferences
- Round rules
- Availability of seats
- Applicable counselling conditions
What Candidates Should Check Now?
- Open the correct quota-wise rank list.
- Search your Application Number / NEET Roll Number.
- Check your displayed rank.
- Verify NEET marks.
- Verify community/category.
- Check whether you are appearing under the correct counselling quota.
- Save/download the official rank-list page for reference.
- Start preparing your college preference order for Round 1.
Do Not Mix Government and Management Quota Ranks
Tamil Nadu publishes Government Quota and Management Quota separately.
Your rank in one list should not be treated as your rank in another quota.
Similarly, the 7.5% Government School Reservation list is a separate preferential-reservation list.

PwD candidates should also remember the separately notified deadline for uploading the required eligibility certificate:
11 August 2026 — 5:00 PM
This is a separate PwD action and should not be confused with publication of the general provisional rank lists.
