Important: Do Not Compare PwD With Ordinary Category Cutoffs
The official result includes combinations such as:
- UR/PH/OP
- OBC/PH/OP
- EWS/PH/OP
- SC/PH/OP
- ST/PH/OP
These PwD allotments can extend to substantially deeper AIRs.
For example, some Government MBBS PwD allotments in the official Round 1 report extend beyond 10 lakh AIR.
This does not mean ordinary UR/SC/ST Government MBBS seats are available at those ranks.
Always check the exact:
College + Category + Horizontal Category + Seat Class
before interpreting a closing rank.
Other MP Category Codes Matter
The official report includes combinations such as:
- X
- GS
- PH
- SN
- FF
along with the main reservation category.
Therefore:
UR/X/OP
is not the same cutoff as:
UR/GS/OP
or:
UR/PH/OP
Likewise, OBC/SC/ST candidates should compare themselves with the exact category/class applicable to them.

>

If Your Allotment Is Lower Than Expected
Do not make a resignation decision only by comparing your rank with one college's closing rank.
Consider:
- higher preferences
- Round 1 actual closing ranks
- possible non-reporting
- Round 2 vacancies
- category-wise movement
- financial suitability
- whether your current allotment is acceptable
Understand the consequences of resignation before cancelling a Round 1 seat.
If You Want Upgradation
Remember that MP requires admitted candidates to select the upgradation option.
Your current seat, eligibility for upgradation and subsequent allotment consequences should be understood before selecting the option.
