This means Kerala has officially moved from:

to:
Result — Provisional Allotment Published
Which Seats Are Covered?
The First Phase allotment relates to eligible MBBS/BDS seats under Kerala State counselling, including:
- State quota seats in Government Medical Colleges
- State quota seats in Government Dental Colleges
- applicable seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges
- applicable seats in Self-Financing Dental Colleges
- Minority/reservation routes where eligible under Kerala rules
NRI Quota
NRI seats remain a separate counselling route.
Candidates should not assume that the current First Phase allotment represents NRI quota allotment unless the official seat type against their record specifically confirms it.
What Candidates Should Check Now
Open the official CEE Kerala allotment list and verify:
- Application number
- Medical rank
- Allotted college
- Course — MBBS or BDS
- Seat type / quota
- Reservation category
- Whether the allotment matches your registered options
- Whether any higher preference remains above the allotted choice
Do not check only the college name.
Provisional Means It Can Still Change
This publication is a provisional allotment.
Candidates should therefore avoid treating the current seat as the final admission position until CEE Kerala publishes the First Phase final allotment.
A provisional allotment may be revised after valid complaints, corrections or other officially permitted changes.
If Your Allotment Looks Incorrect
Check carefully for discrepancies in:

- seat type
- rank
- reservation benefit

If You Received Your Preferred College

- category

- course
before planning admission.
If You Received a Lower Preference
Do not immediately conclude that your higher choices are impossible.
Subsequent movement may happen due to:
- correction of provisional allotment
- non-joining
- subsequent phase vacancies
- upgradation
- seat conversion where permitted
- category movement
Wait for the official final First Phase allotment before judging later-round possibilities.
If You Received No Seat
No provisional allotment does not mean Kerala counselling is over.
Candidates may still have opportunities in later phases depending on:
- available vacancies
- rank
- category
- college preference list
- seat conversion
- non-reporting
- newly available seats
Continue monitoring the official CEE Kerala portal.
Government vs Self-Financing Cutoffs
Government Medical College allotment movement should not be compared directly with Self-Financing Medical College movement.
The two groups differ in:
- tuition fee
- candidate preference
- number of seats
- reservation structure
- affordability
Similarly, BDS should be analysed separately from MBBS.
Important for Minority and Special Categories
Candidates using Minority, PwD or other special reservation benefits should confirm that the applicable seat type/category is shown correctly in the allotment.
Do not compare special-category allotments with ordinary Open/General closing ranks.
