Registration Starts 13 August
Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and satisfy the applicable West Bengal eligibility rules can register for counselling from:
13 August 2026 — 11:00 AM
Registration closes:
16 August 2026 — 6:00 PM
Online fee payment remains available until:
16 August 2026 — 12:00 Midnight

Counselling Routes Covered
WBMCC is conducting MBBS/BDS counselling for different seat routes.
State Quota
Applicable State Quota seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges and State Quota seats in applicable private institutions.
West Bengal domicile requirements apply.
Private Management Quota
Management Quota seats in West Bengal Private Medical and Dental Colleges are filled through WBMCC online counselling.
Candidates from outside West Bengal can also be eligible for Management Quota subject to NEET qualification and other applicable rules.
NRI Quota
NRI Quota seats are available in applicable Private Medical Colleges.
NRI candidates must satisfy the prescribed NRI eligibility and document conditions.
⚠️ State, Management and NRI routes must remain separately tracked on Hire Guide Education because eligibility and document requirements differ.
Important Management Quota Rule
The WBMCC bulletin states that Management Quota allotment is based on the combined NEET UG 2026 merit rank.
There is no caste/PwD reservation in Management Quota seats as described in the official bulletin.
Private College Security Deposit
Candidates wishing to fill choices for private-college seats must note the official security-deposit requirement.
Private College State Quota Only
₹2 lakh security deposit
Private College Management Quota
₹5 lakh security deposit
The ₹5 lakh applies to candidates opting for Management Quota, with or without Private College State Quota choices, as explained in the bulletin.
💰 This security deposit is separate from registration fee and is connected with eligibility to fill applicable private-college choices.
The bulletin also contains detailed refund and forfeiture conditions. Candidates should read them carefully before payment.
State Quota Domicile Requirement
For West Bengal State Quota participation, the candidate or applicable parent must satisfy the prescribed domicile conditions.
WBMCC has provided:

- Domicile Proforma a2
- Domicile Proforma b
A valid West Bengal e-District domicile certificate is also accepted under the conditions stated in the official bulletin.
Candidates using parental domicile under applicable conditions may additionally need prescribed original identity proofs of the concerned parent during verification.
Document Verification
After successful registration and fee payment, eligible candidates must complete document verification at the designated college/date/time allotted through the counselling system.

Important NRI Difference
The WBMCC bulletin states that NRI candidates will not undergo the same pre-choice-filling physical verification process.
Their original NRI documents are checked according to the separate NRI admission process.

Candidates must carry all required original documents, prescribed college fee and applicable bond/documentation.
Important Private College Reporting Rule
The official schedule states that admission processing for allotted candidates of Private Medical Colleges will take place at designated Government Medical Colleges in Kolkata as separately notified.
For Private Dental Colleges, the notified reporting/admission venue is Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College, subject to the detailed notice issued by WBMCC.
Candidates should wait for the specific reporting-centre notice before travelling.
Round 1 Seat Surrender
Online seat surrender at the allotted college level is scheduled for:
3 September 2026 — 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
