Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Schedule Revised Again

Important update for MBBS and BDS candidates: JCECEB has issued a fresh revised schedule for the ongoing 1st Round of Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 counselling.

🔔 Registration and Choice Filling are now extended up to 25 August 2026.

Candidates should follow the latest dates issued in JCECEB Advt. No. 66 dated 21 August 2026 and not rely on the earlier Round 1 schedule.

Revised Jharkhand Round 1 Dates

State Quota — MBBS & BDS

• Online Registration & Choice Filling: up to 25 August 2026
• Editing of Filled Choices: 25 August 2026
• Seat Allotment & Download of Provisional Seat Allotment Letter: 27 August to 5 September 2026
• Document Verification & Admission at allotted institute: 28 August to 5 September 2026

JCECEB has specifically stated that registration, choice filling and editing activities will continue simultaneously on 25 August 2026.

All India Seats in Certain Jharkhand Private Medical Colleges

The revised schedule also applies to specified All India seats in MBBS in:

• Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Palamu
• Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Seraikela-Kharsawan
• Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka
• Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Khunti

For these seats:

• Registration & Choice Filling: up to 25 August 2026
• Seat Allotment / Provisional Allotment Letter: 27 August to 5 September 2026
• Document Verification & Admission: 28 August to 5 September 2026

All India BDS Seats

The same revised timeline also applies to the notified All India BDS seats at:

Vananchal Dental College & Hospital, Garhwa

Important PwD Update

JCECEB has also stated that Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi has been authorised to issue disability certificates for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses for the 2026-27 session.

What Students Should Do Now

1. Log in to the Jharkhand NEET UG counselling portal.
2. Complete registration if still pending.
3. Fill and carefully review MBBS/BDS choices.
4. Make any required choice edits by 25 August 2026.
5. Save proof/screenshots of submitted choices.
6. Keep original documents ready for the revised admission window.
7. Recheck the JCECEB website regularly because Round 2, Round 3 and Stray Vacancy schedules will be issued separately.

⚠️ HGE Important Advice

Do not follow the old 19 August/21 August Round 1 deadline.

The official JCECEB notice dated 21 August 2026 supersedes the earlier schedule to the extent specified in the new notice.

Students should also avoid treating the common MCC state schedule as proof that any particular Jharkhand activity is open. Always follow the live JCECEB portal and official notice.
