🚨 IMPORTANT REVISED SCHEDULE

JCECEB has officially revised the NEET UG 2026 State counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS.

The earlier application deadline of 11 August 2026 at 3:00 PM has been replaced.

Online Application Submission is now extended till 13 August 2026.
What Has Changed?
JCECEB has issued Advt. No. 56 dated 11 August 2026 revising the State Merit List and Round 1 counselling schedule.
1. Online Application Submission
Earlier: 7 August to 11 August 2026 — up to 3:00 PM
Revised: Till 13 August 2026
Fresh application submission should therefore be treated as OPEN / EXTENDED, not Closed.
2. Application Editing
Earlier: 11 August 2026 — 3:01 PM to 12:00 midnight
Revised: 13 August 2026 — 6:00 PM to 12:00 midnight
The official notice further states that online application submission and editing will continue simultaneously during the applicable period on 13 August.
3. State Merit List
Earlier: 12 August 2026
Revised: 14 August 2026
Candidates should therefore not expect the final State Merit List on 12 August under the old schedule.

What Candidates Should Do Now
- Candidates who missed the earlier 11 August deadline can use the revised application window.
- Complete the Jharkhand NEET UG application before 13 August.
- Do not rely on the earlier 12 August Merit List date.
- Check the State Merit List on 14 August.
- Prepare your college preference order now.
- Round 1 choice filling will start from 14 August.
- Complete choices by the unchanged deadline of 19 August.
- Keep all original State eligibility and reservation documents ready.
Important HGE Correction
Any dashboard, WhatsApp alert or website article showing:
“Jharkhand registration closed on 11 August at 3 PM”
must now be corrected.
The official revised notice supersedes that earlier schedule.
BHMS — Keep Separate
The same JCECEB notice also mentions BHMS.
Hire Guide Education should keep BHMS under the separate AYUSH counselling route and should not merge BHMS dashboard data with MBBS/BDS wherever the admission process, seats or later counselling steps differ.
