Applicable Defence / Para-Military and NRI candidates must appear physically before the Admission Board today.

The official NEET UG counselling portal now displays:

• Provisional Combined Merit List — Round 1 before verification
• WPP candidate list for verification
• WDP / Ex-Servicemen category lists for verification
• NRI applicant merit/verification list
• Current Round 1 counselling schedule
• Provisional Seat Matrix

What Normal Candidates Should Check

Open the Provisional Combined Merit List and verify:

• Candidate name
• NEET UG details
• Rajasthan merit position
• Category
• Reservation status
• Applicable special-category claim
• Other candidate details shown in the list

Keep a saved copy of the current merit list.

The current list is explicitly a:

It should not be treated as the final Rajasthan Round 1 merit list.

Physical verification of Defence/Para-Military and NRI candidature is being conducted before revised merit publication.

Revised Merit Lists — 20 August

The official Rajasthan Round 1 schedule provides for publication on:

of:

• Provisional Merit List — Revised
• Defence / Para-Military Merit List after verification
• Revised NRI Merit List after verification

Therefore candidates should recheck their position tomorrow before treating merit data as final for Round 1 planning.

Defence / Para-Military Candidates

Applicable candidates appearing in the published verification lists should attend the Admission Board physically today.

The official portal currently displays separate lists including WPP and WDP / Ex-Servicemen candidates for verification on 19 August.

Do not assume the category claim is fully finalised only because it appeared in the initial application.

NRI Candidates

NRI applicants must also appear physically for candidature verification today as prescribed in the official schedule.

NRI candidates should carry all prescribed original eligibility and supporting documents.

Your NRI counselling strategy should only be finalised after checking:

• NRI eligibility
• Revised NRI merit
• NRI seat availability
• College-wise NRI fees
• Family budget
• Original-document readiness

Choice Filling Is Still Open

The release of the Merit List does not mean Rajasthan Choice Filling has closed.

Rajasthan Security Deposit Amounts

The official Round 1 schedule specifies:

• ₹50,000 — applicable candidates opting for Government MBBS seats
• ₹2,00,000 — Management MBBS seats in Government Society Colleges / RUHS CMS
• ₹5,00,000 — NRI MBBS seats in applicable Government / Society / RUHS institutions
• ₹5,00,000 — MBBS seats in Private Medical Colleges
• ₹10,000 — BDS seats in Government / RUHS-CDS / Private Dental Colleges

Check the applicable conditions in the official Information Bulletin before payment.

How to Use the Provisional Merit List for Choice Planning

Do not prepare choices only from NEET AIR.

Use:

Rajasthan Merit + Category + Quota + Seat Matrix + College Fees + Previous Closing Ranks + Genuine Preference

Dream Choices

Colleges above your historical expected range that you would genuinely join.

Target Choices

Colleges around your merit/category trend.

Safer Choices

Acceptable institutions where previous closing trends are relatively favourable.

Backup Choices

Every remaining acceptable college/course you would genuinely take.

Your final submitted list should still follow actual preference order, not Dream/Target/Safe labels.

Merit List Is NOT the Admission Cutoff

The Provisional Merit List only establishes the counselling merit pool.

It is not:

• Round 1 college closing rank
• Admission cutoff
• Allotment result
• Admission confirmation
