MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Final Result Out — Reporting Started

Major NEET UG 2026 update: Medical Counselling Committee has now published the Final Allotment Result for Round 1 of UG Counselling 2026.

🚨 MCC ROUND 1 FINAL RESULT IS NOW THE CONTROLLING ALLOTMENT

>

Candidates allotted a seat may now proceed for reporting/joining at their allotted college.

>

Last date of joining for MCC Round 1: 31 August 2026, according to the current revised MCC/State counselling schedule.

The earlier 24 August Revised Provisional Result II must no longer be treated as the live admission result.

What Changed?

The counselling sequence has now moved through:

Provisional Result

Revised Provisional Result

Revised Provisional Result II

→ ✅ FINAL ROUND 1 ALLOTMENT RESULT

MCC's live UG Medical page now specifically tells candidates:

The Final Result for Round 1 is available and candidates may proceed to report to their allotted college.

This is the most important change since the previous HGE watch.

Immediate Action for Allotted Candidates

If you have received an MBBS/BDS seat in the Final Result:

  1. Check your Final Result, not an older provisional PDF.
  2. Verify your allotted college.
  3. Verify the course — MBBS or BDS.
  4. Check the allotted quota.
  5. Check the allotted category.
  6. Download/complete the applicable MCC allotment and reporting documents through the candidate portal.
  7. Check the allotted institution's own reporting instructions.
  8. Arrange original documents.
  9. Arrange tuition/other applicable fee payment.
  10. Complete physical reporting/joining before the official deadline.

⚠️ Do not rely on your 21 August or earlier 24 August provisional allotment screenshot.

>

The Final Result is now the controlling source.

MCC Round 1 Reporting Deadline

The revised MCC/State counselling schedule shows:

MCC / AIQ / Deemed / Central Universities

Last Date of Joining: 31 August 2026

Verification of Joined Candidate Data by MCC

1 September 2026

All participating institutions have also been directed to treat Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days for adherence to the counselling schedule.

Candidates should therefore not assume that reporting activity will stop during a weekend/holiday.

Final Result Size — 29,946 Allotment Records

The official Final Result PDF contains:

1,272 pages

and reaches:

Serial No. 29,946

The combined MCC file contains allotments across MBBS, BDS and applicable B.Sc Nursing counselling routes.

For HGE analysis:

  • MBBS must be extracted separately
  • BDS must be extracted separately
  • Nursing must remain outside the MBBS/BDS cutoff dataset

Important MCC Quota Codes in Final Result

The Final Result itself identifies multiple quota structures.

Important MBBS/BDS routes include:

  • AI — All India
  • SO — Open Seat Quota
  • DU — Delhi University Quota
  • IP — IP University Quota
  • ES — Employees State Insurance Scheme
  • JP — Internal Puducherry UT Domicile
  • NR / JN — NRI routes
  • PS — Self-Financed Merit Seat
  • AMU and other institutional/minority quota codes

This is why HGE must never publish only:

“College X General Cutoff”

without specifying the quota.

Correct format is:

College + Course + Round + Category + Quota

AIIMS Must NOT Be Stored as Normal AIQ

AIIMS allotments are shown under:

Open Seat Quota

not ordinary All India quota.

For HGE data normalisation:

AIIMS/Open Seat ≠ Standard AIQ

Keep them separately mapped in:

  • Cutoff Explorer
  • Predictor
  • seat analysis
  • Round 2 upgrade comparison

Final Result — Top Institution Pattern

The official Final Result continues to show the country's highest-ranked candidates concentrated in:

  • AIIMS New Delhi
  • JIPMER Puducherry
  • VMMC & Safdarjung
  • Maulana Azad Medical College
  • other major AIIMS
  • leading Government AIQ medical colleges

For example, the final dataset shows VMMC & Safdarjung under All India quota around AIR 105 in the early portion of the result.

These individual allotments help show preference patterns, but the true Round 1 cutoff must be calculated from the last allotted candidate for each exact college + category + quota combination.

HGE should therefore avoid converting representative allotments into closing ranks.

MAMC — Why Quota Separation Is Essential

The Final Result contains Maulana Azad Medical College through multiple routes.

For example, MAMC appears under:

All India Quota

and separately under:

Delhi University Quota

DU General MBBS allotments are visible around AIR 2,474 onward in the relevant portion of the final result, while AIQ behaves very differently.

Therefore these must be separate HGE cutoff records:

MAMC — MBBS — AIQ — OPEN

and

MAMC — MBBS — DU — OPEN

The same rule applies to category cutoffs.

Category Cutoffs Must Be Calculated Separately

The Final Result contains:

  • OPEN / General
  • OBC-NCL
  • EWS
  • SC
  • ST
  • PwD variants

The same medical college can therefore have very different closing AIRs depending on category.

For example, Bangalore Medical College final-result entries extend across different category ranges, with reserved-category allotments continuing substantially deeper than OPEN.

This does not mean a single rank should be quoted as:

“Bangalore Medical College cutoff.”

Correct cutoff analysis requires:

Quota + Category + PwD status + Course

PwD Requires Separate Mapping

PwD is especially important.

Do not merge:

SC

with

SC-PwD

or:

OBC

with

OBC-PwD

PwD seats can extend to much deeper AIRs due to the specific horizontal reservation and eligibility structure.

Displaying a PwD closing AIR as an ordinary SC/OBC cutoff would seriously mislead students.

Deemed / Self-Financed MBBS — Very Different Rank Movement

The lower end of the Final Result again demonstrates that Self-Financed Merit seats can move to extremely deep AIRs.

The final entries reach approximately:

AIR 11,94,233

for Self-Financed Merit seats.

The last portion includes MBBS allotments at institutions such as:

  • J R Medical College and Hospital
  • Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital

This does not mean Government MBBS is available anywhere near these ranks.

The reasons include:

  • high tuition fee
  • different quota
  • different college preference
  • affordability
  • institutional structure
  • vacancy movement

Therefore HGE should publish Government AIQ and Deemed/Self-Financed closing ranks separately.

BDS Analysis Must Stay Separate

MCC combines MBBS and BDS allotments in the same PDF.

But BDS:

  • has different seat supply
  • moves to different AIR ranges
  • includes different institutions
  • has different student preference behaviour

Therefore HGE should maintain:

MCC 2026 Round 1 MBBS Cutoff

and

MCC 2026 Round 1 BDS Cutoff

as separate datasets.

First understand:

  • Round 1 exit rules
  • Round 2 eligibility
  • college reporting requirement
  • applicable security deposit rules
  • upgrade options
  • effect of not joining

Follow Chapter 2 of the current MCC Information Bulletin, which MCC specifically asks candidates to read before reporting.

Important Reporting Documents

Candidates should keep all applicable original documents ready, including:

  • MCC allotment documentation
  • NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
  • NEET UG 2026 Score Card
  • Class 10 certificate
  • Class 12 certificate/marksheet
  • date-of-birth proof
  • photo ID
  • passport-size photographs
  • category certificate where applicable
  • EWS/OBC-NCL documents where applicable
  • PwD certificate where applicable
  • NRI/institutional eligibility documents where applicable
  • any undertaking/bond demanded by the allotted institution

Always check the institution's reporting notice in addition to MCC instructions.

HGE Advice

If you have been allotted a seat, check the Final Result today, download the applicable allotment/reporting documents and verify the allotted institution's reporting requirements.

If you are waiting for Round 2, the final Round 1 dataset is now the correct source for analysing realistic upgrade and fresh-allotment chances.
