MCC has published a new instruction for candidates who did not select the DU/IP (VMMC/RML) Delhi Seats Quota during NEET UG 2026 registration.

Eligible candidates can now unlock registration, add the applicable DU/IP section, final-submit the application again and then fill their choices.

Who Should Check This?

This update is important for candidates who:

• Are eligible for the applicable Delhi DU/IP quota
• Are participating in MCC NEET UG 2026 counselling
• Did not select DU/IP (VMMC/RML) / MBBS & BDS Delhi Seats Quota during initial registration

If you already selected the applicable Delhi quota correctly, no change may be required.

MCC's Official Steps

MCC has instructed affected candidates to follow this sequence:

1. Open Registration Unlocking
2. Select Unlock Registration
3. Go to Qualification
4. Select Apply for Section
5. Tick the checkbox for:

DU/IP (VMMC/RML) / MBBS & BDS / B.Sc Nursing Delhi Seats Quota

1. Final Submit Application
2. Proceed to Fill Choices

Candidates must complete the section selection, Final Submit again and then fill applicable choices.

Important for MBBS/BDS Candidates

For Hire Guide Education, the primary alert applies to:

• MBBS
• BDS

B.Sc Nursing must remain separately tracked from MBBS/BDS where counselling logic or eligibility differs.

Registration

12 August 2026 — up to 3:00 PM

Payment

12 August 2026 — up to 6:00 PM

Choice Locking

Starts:

12 August 2026 — 4:00 PM

Closes:

13 August 2026 — 11:00 AM

Choice Filling

Closes:

13 August 2026 — 11:00 AM

🔴 Candidates who need to add the DU/IP Delhi section should not wait until choice locking starts.

What Candidates Should Do Now

1. Login to the official MCC counselling system.
2. Check whether the DU/IP Delhi Seats Quota is already selected.
3. If missed and you are eligible, use Registration Unlocking.
4. Add the DU/IP section.
5. Final-submit the registration again.
6. Check that the section is saved correctly.
7. Fill applicable Delhi MBBS/BDS choices.
8. Save confirmation screenshots/details.
9. Complete all actions before the official Round 1 deadlines.

Important — Eligibility Does Not Change

This facility does not automatically make every candidate eligible for Delhi quota seats.

Candidates must still satisfy the applicable:

• DU/IP eligibility rules
• Institutional requirements
• NEET UG eligibility
• Category/quota conditions
• MCC counselling conditions
