Manipur NEET UG 2026 — MBBS/BDS Document Checklist Released

Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Manipur has issued the official document checklist for candidates participating in Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026.

Registration & Choice Filling / Locking starts: 13 August 2026

Candidates should prepare the correct documents according to the quota they are applying for.

State Government Seat Candidates

Candidates applying for State Government seats must upload the applicable documents including:

• Class 10 Certificate for age proof
• Class 12 Mark Sheet
• NEET UG 2026 Score Card issued by NTA
• Domicile Certificate of candidate / PRC of parents / Government Employment Certificate of parents, as applicable
• Caste Certificate, if applicable
• OBC Certificate issued within the prescribed recent period, where applicable
• Children of Ex-Servicemen / Armed Forces Personnel Certificate, if applicable
• Meritorious Sportsperson Certificate, if applicable
• PwBD Eligibility Certificate, if applicable
• Recent passport-size photograph

⚠️ Manipur State eligibility documents are important. Do not assume NEET qualification alone is enough for State Government seats.

Management Quota Candidates

Candidates applying for Management Quota seats must upload:

• Class 10 Certificate
• Class 12 Mark Sheet
• NEET UG 2026 Score Card
• Recent passport-size photograph

Management Quota eligibility and seat availability remain subject to the official counselling rules.

NRI Quota Candidates

NRI candidates have additional documentation requirements.

Upload applicable documents including:

• Class 10 Certificate
• Class 12 Mark Sheet
• NEET UG 2026 Score Card
• Recent passport-size photograph
• Valid Passport of candidate
• Valid Passport of first-degree relative / legal guardian
• NRI Certificate of self / first-degree relative / legal guardian issued by competent Embassy / Indian Consulate
• Notarized sponsorship affidavit
• NRE Bank Account Passbook supporting sponsorship
• Proof establishing relationship with the first-degree relative or bona fide guardianship

🚨 NRI candidates should prepare these additional documents before registration starts.

Important Sponsorship Requirement

For the NRI route, the official notice requires the first-degree relative / legal guardian sponsorship affidavit to confirm responsibility for:

• Full course fee
• Living expenses during the course

The relationship / guardianship must also be capable of verification by the competent authority.

Further seat-allotment stages will proceed according to the official Manipur Medical e-Counselling schedule.

What Candidates Should Do Today

1. Decide which quota you are eligible for.
2. Prepare all required original certificates.
3. Scan certificates clearly.
4. Check that names and personal details match across documents.
5. NRI candidates should verify passport, NRI certificate, sponsorship affidavit and relationship proof.
6. State candidates should check domicile / PRC / Government employment eligibility documents.
7. Keep NEET UG 2026 Score Card ready.
8. Start registration once the official facility opens on 13 August.
9. Do not upload blurred or incomplete certificates.

Important — Different Quotas Have Different Requirements

Do not use one common checklist for:

• State Government Quota
• Management Quota
• NRI Quota

The Directorate has separately prescribed documents for each route.

Government Employment Certificate

The official notice also provides a prescribed Employment Certificate format for candidates relying on the Government employment eligibility route through their parent.

Candidates using this route should follow the annexure provided in the official notification.
