What Is New?
NBEMS had already announced the Final Mop-Up Round and opened choice filling.
Now, on 21 August 2026, NBEMS has released the corresponding Final Mop-Up indicative seat matrix.
This is the vacancy list candidates should use for final choice planning.
Why This Matrix Matters
⚠️ Do not use the old Round 2 matrix for Final Mop-Up strategy.

The Final Mop-Up Round is not a fresh-registration round.
Eligible candidates should follow the original NBEMS Mop-Up eligibility conditions, including being already registered for Post Diploma DNB counselling and remaining eligible after earlier rounds.
What Candidates Should Do Now Open the official NBEMS Counselling & Registration notice page. Find the 21-08-2026 Final Mop-Up Indicative Seat Matrix. Check specialty-wise and hospital-wise vacancies. Remove options that are no longer available. Add/reorder newly available Final Mop-Up options. Check every hospital’s current accreditation.
