Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 — Fresh Round 1 Allotment & Admission Notice
Important update for Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS candidates: CGDME has issued a fresh official press note dated 22 August 2026 concerning the Round 1 allotment, document scrutiny and admission process.
🚨 CGDME had earlier postponed publication of the First Round allotment on 20 August.
>
A new official press note concerning allotment, scrutiny and admission has now been uploaded.
What Is New?
The Commissionerate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh currently lists this new notice at the top of its 2026 notice register:
“NEET UG Admission Year 2026 — Press Note regarding Allotment, Document Scrutiny and Admission Process under State-Level Counselling”
Official notice date: 22 August 2026
This is newer than the CGDME notice dated 20 August 2026, which had specifically announced postponement of the First Round allotment.
Why This Matters
Students should not continue relying automatically on the original Round 1 allotment and admission sequence.
The live official record now contains:
- 20 August 2026: Round 1 allotment postponed
- 22 August 2026: Fresh press note regarding allotment, document scrutiny and admission
Therefore, candidates must check the latest CGDME instructions before travelling for scrutiny/admission or relying on older admission dates.
Important HGE Verification Note
CGDME hosts the fresh press-note PDF through its official notice page, but the underlying document is served through Google Drive.
During this verification run, the official notice title and publication date were successfully confirmed from CGDME, but the Drive-hosted PDF text could not be reliably extracted.
Therefore:
⚠️ HGE should not invent or infer a revised allotment/reporting date until the PDF contents are directly readable or CGDME updates its NIC counselling portal.
The notice itself is confirmed official; exact operational dates inside the attached PDF should remain verification pending.
What Students Should Do
- Check the fresh 22 August CGDME notice.
- Do not rely on the older Round 1 allotment date.
- Keep original admission documents ready.
- Keep NEET UG scorecard, admit card, domicile/category documents and counselling credentials ready.
- Do not travel for physical scrutiny only on the basis of a superseded schedule.
- Follow the latest allotment letter/CGDME instructions once the Round 1 allotment is activated.
Current Official Portal Status
The separate NIC Chhattisgarh counselling portal currently still displays:
Round 1 Registration & Choice Filling
and shows the Round 1 merit list as published.
The NIC portal has not yet exposed a newer Round 1 allotment result at this verification.
Therefore HGE should not mark the counselling section as Reporting Completed or Round 1 Result Published yet.
HGE Dashboard Action
Old Status
Round 1 Allotment Postponed
Update To
Round 1 — New Allotment/Scrutiny/Admission Notice Issued
Exact Result/Reporting Deadline
Await full verification from CGDME's 22 August press note / live allotment portal
Do not assign a guessed date.
HGE Cutoff Data Rule
No Round 1 cutoff should be generated until the actual allotment result/list becomes available.
When CGDME publishes the result, HGE should extract:
- Government MBBS
- Private MBBS
- Government/Private BDS
- Category-wise opening and closing ranks
- State quota/private quota
- NRI where separately identifiable
- College-wise allotment ranges
The allotment dataset should then be mapped to the latest HGE Chhattisgarh college master before Predictor/Cutoff Explorer upload.
