What Has CGDME Published?
The official Chhattisgarh MBBS counselling page now shows:
“25 Aug 2026 : CG STATE NEET-UG (MBBS/BDS) 2026 Provisional Allotment List – Round 1”
This is currently the newest MBBS/BDS counselling result item on the CGDME portal.
CGDME had earlier postponed the first-round allotment on 20 August 2026. The allotment has now been published following the revised counselling process.
Courses Covered
The result applies to:
- MBBS
- BDS
AYUSH, Nursing, Physiotherapy and other health courses should not be mixed with this MBBS/BDS Round 1 allotment.
What Candidates Should Check Now
Open the official Round 1 allotment list and verify:
- Candidate details
- NEET UG 2026 rank
- Allotted college
- Course — MBBS or BDS
- Allotted quota
- Allotted category
- Government / Private seat type
- NRI / Management route, where applicable
- Whether the allotment is consistent with your submitted choices
Do not check only the college name.
Provisional Allotment — Important Meaning
CGDME has specifically titled this publication:
“Provisional Allotment List – Round 1”
Therefore candidates should follow the subsequent official CGDME instructions carefully before treating the seat as fully completed admission.
Seat allotment by itself does not replace:
- document scrutiny
- eligibility verification
- fee payment
- college-level admission formalities
Document Scrutiny & Admission
CGDME has separately published a press note regarding:
allotment, document scrutiny and admission process
for the 2026 State NEET UG counselling cycle.
Candidates allotted a seat should read this notice together with their Round 1 allotment.
Keep all original documents ready and follow the exact reporting/admission instructions displayed by CGDME and the allotted institution.
Documents Candidates Should Keep Ready
Keep the applicable originals and photocopies ready, including:
- NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
- NEET UG 2026 Score Card
- Class 10 certificate / Date of Birth proof
- Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- Chhattisgarh domicile/residence documents where applicable
- Category certificate
- EWS certificate where applicable
- PwD certificate where applicable
- NRI documents where applicable
- valid photo ID
- allotment-related documents
- required undertaking/bond
- college fee/payment documents
Always follow the final document checklist issued by CGDME or your allotted college.
Government vs Private MBBS
Chhattisgarh counselling includes Government Medical Colleges as well as State counselling seats in Private Medical Colleges.
Private colleges may contain different seat structures such as:
- Government / State quota
- Management quota
- NRI quota
These routes have different fees and competition.
A candidate should therefore check the exact seat type shown in the allotment before proceeding.
NRI Candidates
CGDME separately published an NRI eligible-candidate list during Round 1.
Candidates receiving an NRI allotment should verify:
- NRI eligibility
- seat type
- applicable fee
- required sponsor/relationship documents
- institution-specific reporting requirements
NRI closing ranks should never be compared directly with ordinary State quota Government MBBS cutoffs.
If You Received a Government MBBS Seat
Check:
- exact Government college
- category
- fee
- applicable service/bond rules
- reporting/document requirements
Complete all official formalities within the notified admission period.
If You Received a Private MBBS Seat
Before admission, verify the exact:
- college
- quota
- tuition fee
- other compulsory charges
- hostel charges
- bond/undertaking, if applicable
Do not assume that every seat in a Private Medical College has the same fee.
If You Received BDS
BDS allotment should be evaluated separately from MBBS.
Check:
- Government vs Private Dental College
- allotted quota
- fee
- whether you genuinely want to continue with BDS
- later-round rules before making any decision
If You Received No Seat
Round 1 does not necessarily end your Chhattisgarh counselling chances.
Later movement may arise through:
- non-reporting
- candidates moving to MCC or another State
- upgrades
- vacant seats
- subsequent counselling rounds
Wait for the official Round 2 vacancy/schedule before judging your final admission possibility.
If You Received a Lower Preference
Do not resign or abandon the allotted seat without first understanding:
- Round 2 eligibility
- upgrade rules
- resignation consequences
- applicable security amount/fee conditions
- vacancy movement after Round 1
Use only the official CGDME counselling rules for these decisions.
