Andhra Pradesh NEET UG 2026 CAP Priority List Released — Grievances Till 27 Aug 4 PM

Important update for Andhra Pradesh MBBS/BDS candidates who applied under CAP category: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences has published the Provisional CAP Priority List for admissions under Competent Authority Quota for 2026-27.

🚨 CAP Grievance Deadline: 27 August 2026 — 4:00 PM

>

CAP applicants should check their provisional priority/status now.

>

The University clearly states that grievances received after the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.

Who Is This Notice For?

The notice applies specifically to candidates who:

  • submitted an online application for Andhra Pradesh MBBS/BDS counselling,
  • uploaded scanned original certificates, and
  • applied under the CAP category.

This is not a general grievance notice for every Andhra Pradesh NEET UG candidate.

What Has Been Published?

Dr. NTRUHS states that the Provisional CAP Priority List, as submitted by the Sainik Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has been displayed on the University website.

CAP candidates should therefore verify their position carefully before the grievance window closes.

Grievance Deadline

If you find a genuine issue in your CAP priority/status, the grievance must be submitted to:

Sainik Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada

Official Grievance Email

apcapadmissions@gmail.com

Last Date & Time

27 August 2026 — 4:00 PM

⚠️ The official notification explicitly states that grievances received after the last date and time will not be considered.

What Should CAP Candidates Check?

Verify:

  1. Your name/details in the provisional CAP list.
  2. Whether your CAP claim has been reflected correctly.
  3. Your CAP priority/status.
  4. Whether the service/dependency information used for CAP eligibility is correct.
  5. Whether any relevant Sainik Welfare documentation has been considered correctly.

If everything is correct, no grievance is required.

What to Include in a Genuine Grievance

Candidates should clearly mention:

  • Candidate name
  • NEET UG 2026 details
  • Andhra Pradesh counselling application details
  • CAP claim/priority issue
  • supporting service/dependency certificates
  • any other relevant Sainik Welfare document

Keep a copy of the email and supporting documents for your records.

CAP Is a Special Reservation Claim

CAP eligibility should not be confused with the candidate's main vertical reservation category.

A candidate may belong to an underlying category such as:

  • OC
  • EWS
  • BC
  • SC
  • ST

and also have an eligible CAP claim according to Andhra Pradesh counselling rules.

Therefore, candidates should verify both their normal counselling category and their CAP status when subsequent merit/allotment information is published.

Why CAP Priority Matters

CAP seats are considered according to the applicable special-category priority rules.

A mistake in the provisional CAP priority can therefore affect:

  • special-category eligibility
  • CAP priority order
  • consideration during seat allotment
  • the seat pool available to the candidate

This is why affected students should not ignore the provisional list.

What Happens Next?

After the CAP grievance period closes, candidates should continue monitoring Dr. NTRUHS for the next Competent Authority Quota stages, including applicable:

  • merit/eligibility updates
  • seat matrix
  • web options / choice filling
  • allotment result
  • reporting instructions

Follow exact dates only when they are officially notified by Dr. NTRUHS.

Management Quota Remains Separate

This CAP notice is for Competent Authority Quota.

Andhra Pradesh Management Quota counselling, including applicable:

  • Category B
  • Category C / NRI
  • Minority routes

should continue to be followed separately.
