NEET PG Final Edit Window Opens

NBEMS gives deficient-image candidates one final chance to correct photograph, signature or thumb impression from 12 August, 1 PM to 15 August, 11:55 PM. Application may be cancelled if correction is not completed.

🚨 Critical NEET PG 2026 Update: NBEMS has given candidates with rejected or deficient images one final opportunity to correct their application.

Final Correction Window:

12 August 2026, 1:00 PM to 15 August 2026, 11:55 PM IST

⚠️ Failure to correct the images may result in cancellation of the NEET PG 2026 application.

What Has NBEMS Announced?

The earlier NEET PG 2026 Selective Edit Window closed on 10 August 2026.

After scrutiny, NBEMS found that several candidates had still not uploaded their prescribed images correctly.

Therefore, NBEMS has opened one final Selective Edit Window for affected candidates.

Who Needs To Take Action?

This update is specifically important for candidates whose NEET PG application has a rejected or deficient:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Thumb impression

NBEMS has already informed affected candidates through their registered email.

Candidates should also check their applicant login to verify image approval/rejection status.

Final Correction Schedule

Opens

12 August 2026 — 1:00 PM IST

Closes

15 August 2026 — 11:55 PM IST

🚨 NBEMS has clearly stated that no further opportunity will be provided after this window.

What Can Be Edited?

This is not a general NEET PG application correction window.

Only the prescribed deficient/rejected images should be rectified as allowed through the Selective Edit Window.

These may include:

  • Candidate photograph
  • Signature
  • Thumb impression

Why This Is Critical

If an affected candidate fails to rectify the rejected image during this final window, NBEMS states that the application may be cancelled.

That can prevent the candidate from appearing in NEET PG 2026.

What Candidates Should Do

  1. Open the official NEET PG 2026 applicant login.
  2. Check your image scrutiny/approval status.
  3. Check your registered email for an NBEMS deficiency message.
  4. Identify which image has been rejected.
  5. Read the official Image Upload Instructions.
  6. Prepare a fresh compliant image.
  7. Upload it after 1:00 PM on 12 August.
  8. Complete correction before 15 August, 11:55 PM.
  9. Recheck approval status after submission.
  10. Keep proof/screenshots of successful submission.

Read Image Instructions Carefully

NBEMS has advised candidates to refer to pages 110–127 of the NEET PG 2026 Information Bulletin.

These pages explain the prescribed requirements for:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Thumb impression

Examples of rejected images are provided on pages 120–127.

Keep Email & Mobile Active

📱 Important: Keep the email address and mobile number entered in your NEET PG 2026 application active.

NBEMS has advised candidates to maintain these contact details until completion of the:

  • Examination
  • Counselling
  • Admission process

Important deficiency, exam and admission communications may be sent through these registered details.

Is This an Extension of the Old Deadline?

Yes.

The earlier Selective Edit Window closed on 10 August 2026.

NBEMS has now granted affected candidates a final additional opportunity:

12 August, 1:00 PM → 15 August, 11:55 PM

This latest NBEMS notice should be followed by candidates whose images remain deficient.

Important Warning

🚨 Do not assume your image is accepted just because you submitted it earlier.

Check the actual approval/rejection status through the official applicant portal and registered email.

Also avoid relying on coaching screenshots or unofficial lists.
