What Is the Important Deadline Today?
CEE Kerala's First Phase MBBS/BDS allotment notice instructs applicable candidates to clear the pending defects required for release of their Medical Rank by:
19 August 2026 — 3:00 PM
Candidates whose Medical Rank is affected by an unresolved defect should check their KEAM Candidate Portal immediately.
Why This Is Important
Your Medical Rank is a core part of Kerala MBBS/BDS counselling.
A pending defect can affect your ability to participate correctly in the current medical allotment process.
Candidates should not wait until tomorrow's Choice/Option Registration deadline if their Medical Rank itself still requires correction or release.

- Login to the official KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal.
- Check your Medical Rank status.
- Look for any pending defect / deficiency shown in your profile.
- Read the specific defect reason carefully.
- Upload or correct the required information/document as permitted.
- Complete all required actions before 3:00 PM today.
- Recheck whether your Medical Rank has been released.
- Save proof/screenshot of the corrected status.
- After rank correction, review your MBBS/BDS options.
