Who Should Take Action?
Candidates should check the published Provisional Merit List carefully for issues relating to:
- Candidate details
- Merit position
- Category
- Reservation claim
- Local quota
- Eligibility status
- Any other information reflected incorrectly in the published merit data
If there is a genuine issue, do not wait for the next merit publication.
Correction Must Be Done in Person
ACPUGMEC has specifically instructed candidates to:
- Fill the prescribed correction form.
- Collect all necessary supporting documents.
- Personally visit the same Help Centre where document verification was originally completed.
- Submit the representation within the notified timing.
Final Deadline
19 August 2026 — 4:00 PM

Candidates should check the applicable list before deciding whether a correction is needed.
PwD and NRI Merit Are Separate
ACPUGMEC states that verification of candidates applying under:
- PwD Quota
- NRI Quota
is still being completed.
Their separate category merit will be declared in due course.
Therefore do not confuse today's general Provisional Merit correction deadline with publication of PwD/NRI merit.
What Candidates Should Carry
Take:
- Filled correction form
- Relevant original/supporting certificates
- Photocopies where useful
- Registration/application details
- Proof related to category or eligibility claim
- Previous document-verification acknowledgement, if available
Carry the strongest official proof supporting the correction requested.
Important for Choice List Preparation
Do not finalise a Gujarat MBBS/BDS choice strategy using incorrect merit/category data.
The correct sequence is:
Check Provisional Merit → Correct Errors → Wait for Correct/Final Merit Status → Seat Matrix → Choice Filling
Merit List Is Not Admission Cutoff
The current Provisional Merit List is not:
- Round 1 closing rank
- College cutoff
- Seat allotment
- Admission confirmation
